HEY ALL!
I recently SUCCESSFULLY Downgraded my 2.6 PSP to 1.5, and It's AWESOME! Heres a couple of things of what I've done.
iR Shell - 6/10 - It was OK, great Wallpaper and GUI, but seems like they crammed in too much, it needs more simplifin...
QUAKE PSP - 10/10 - AMAZING, So far the BEST homebrew game available. (And also the only one I've tryed, lol... but it really is impressive).
FASTLOADER 0.7 - 10/10 - Tryed a WiPEOUT PURE ISO, and its 100% brilliant, fantastic work, Genius.
DevHook 0.46 ULTIMATE EDITION - 10/10 - Of course! DevHook! Ultimate though!, Automatically installing it with 2.71, no faults running either, maybe a beginners guide to it, I was clueless at first, but figured it all out myself, Fantastic Work, looking forward to 2.80 Emulation.
There's something that troubles me, Well, I have to load up that 1.5 PSP, and I CAN play homebrew, but here's the problems : -
Loading Times!! Just seeing the boot up screens all the time, ARRGH!
The Looks! Yuk! I couldn't believe it when I saw my 1.5 PSP could ONLY be on 1 Theme, not even Wallpaper! There must be a way to personalize your 1.5 PSP but without Brickin it......
Having to load up DevHook for the basic features, then go BACK for the homebrew... why!! Is there an easier way?
Homebrew and the Blank, Whats up there? theres the Homebrew Icon and a blank thing, 200 - 800 KBs large... I don't want em there, and I'm not running them, just in case.
Is there an MP3/AAC/WMA Player that allows me to Make a Library from my Laptops Library and access/play them by Wi-Fi?, if not, is there the same, but for PSP MEM Stick, It can PROPERLY read the ID3 Tags, and I can make playlists...
Thanks for any replys,
NG

PSP Personilize will change wallpapers.
Emulate 2.7 with DH, then hold up power switch 10secs to quickly hard reboot.Use SeiPSP i think thats the name, theres a sticky. It can remove corrupt icons.

your right, but you can't get at all of the features easily....
and I am trying out PSP-OSS now... OK, its booting (thats a new one) hmm...
VERY Cool!, Seems to be A LOT more nicer to use than IRShell, but the App's on the Desktops seem to be malfunctional. :( That Includes QUAKE (that I already have), and an eBook Reader, and a few other things, if ure interested, go here, http://dl.qj.net/PSP-OSS-v0.3-PSP-Homebrew-Applications/pg/12/fid... .
OK, PSPersonalize and an iTunes thing next!

and?
all it's implying is to use it if your homebrew if its not working.
Mine is. Just I have Homebrew apps with NO name and NO Icon..... so what now??
and thank you iPirate, you broke my DevHook!
I set it up all OK, got a test PodCast and Exited, then it had a Blue "Data Corrupted" Error, pressed O, and nothing happened, I loaded up DevHook again, pressed Start, and It was the Error again, gonna have to reinstall now :(
Could this be a bug in DevHook or the Actual Firmware?
