ok well im a noob at this sort of stuff just getting into it but in ps2 i know a lot so i would like it if someone could help me with my psp.
well i have psp 1.5fw and i downloaded devHook sample launcher and i saved a ISO game (burnout legendz) to my root folder. now i need to know if this is the best version of device hook or is there is a better also when i load device hook right away it says "cant load/start devHook" why does it say this someone please help me get my psp going please. sorry for being a nooby but i lean quick.

Ill do it for him. .46 allows you to flash most the files to onboard NAND chip (flash). It reduced overhead therefor making it run alot faster. That is the biggest advantage. As always with a new release it addresses older bug fixes also.

if devhook says that error its either 1. Bad iso or 2. settings are wrong

but i didnt even load the iso yet all i did was press x in my memory stick at games i pressed devhook then it went to the sony load screen right after it said "cant load/start devHook"

make sure you have 1.5
and try the devhook in my sig as yours might be bad download or something.

ipirate i am positive my psp is 1.5 i go to system setting/system info and see version 1.50 as for the drvice hook that is the one i got and have now i just dont know why this is happing.

so you get an error when devhook is booting correct? It doesnt even boot before you get an error? Or is the error when trying to boot a iso?
