the ultimate installer is only for 1.5 users. you could put it on another firmware version but its not going to work.

No matter what I do, it gives me a black screen then the psp shutdown when I try to run an ISO or an UMD! :(

Ok before you try devhook .46 you should try devhook .45. The link to the ultimate installer is in my sig. Download .45 and after u install it and run it press "O" to stop the autorun. Then use these settings with it.

UMD SELECT - iso you wanna play
UMD MOUNT - ISO ANYUMD
UMD VERSION - 2.xx --> 2.00
FIRMWARE - 2.71
CPU CLOCK - 222
BOOT SELECT - reboot xmb
and leave other where it is.

Post back your results on whether or not it worked. After you get the hang of .45 then you might want to try upgrading to .46.

Ok... for that config the GTA LCS UMD worked well :), but for ISO's it hanged right after the reboot...
It's a problem using .dax ISO's with DevHook?

Dax iso's don't work with dev hook. Can someone confirm this cause I think I am right
