Nero 6 ultra came with our computer and we have no clue how to burn dvd's trying and trying and its not working. We are trying to burn video files to dvds. Can some one please walk us through the steps to burning a dvd?? Thanks a bunch

If you're trying to backup DVDs, most are copy protected and cannot simply be directly copied. See the guides above for the how to.

Hi.

In that case you need to use a conversion program to make the files DVD compliant to be playable on most standalone players. If you have a DVD player that plays divX/AVI you don't need to do the conversion.

Some of the conversion programs that have free trials are these:

Since you have Nero, you might as well use NeroVision Express to start. Here's a NVE 4 guide for doing so:

Many of us use ConvertXtoDVD (link above). NeroVision isn't the fastest or best converter.
