for downgrading?
i went to a local ebgames and they had this but i'm not sure if it's the right one and the guy won't let me try it out on the spot

ULUS 10041 UPDL-01005A1 is the serial/number

put in your psp and see what version of firmware it needs to run
2.6 = patched
2.0 = unpatched

i dont think you u can tell by the serial number,but if it has 2.0 update its the right one.Dont buy the 2.6 update one it will not be any use 2 u for downgrading.(its patched.)

Take your psp to gamestop and tell them you need to try a preowned before you bye..

i belive there is a pic here that exp;ains a patched gta, lemme check

The following are for the EU/UK versions of the game:

GTA: LCS (Non-Patched 2.6 version):
ULES-00151#

GTA: LCS (Patched 2.6 Version):
ULES-00151#2

For the U.S version of the game:

GTA:LCS (Non-Patched Version):
ULUS 10041


These differ from country to country.

goodthinking waldo yh m8 go to a game shop and buy a preowned 1 ther are the unpatches 1 well most ov em are. yh so buy a preowned gta frm a gameshop and u should be fine

@ipirate yh but what if the rented gts iz paatched we dnt know but if ya buy a preowned 1 frm gameshop such as game and gamestaion 75% chance that it will be unpatched becoz loads ov my m8 and ppl ere on the net have followed the same method but its upto you but i prefer preowned

The other + of getting at a preowned shop is you should be able to try it there before hand.. I also kept my gta lcs. I think $20 was worth it seeing as it allowed me to downgrade both of my psp's.

Some rental places will sell used copies for cheap to if they have alot of copies. You just gotta ask a manager.

well most shops have older versions becasue theve had it since it came out, as its a good renter.
