Hi, I've just downloaded two games from torrent sites to see if they work. I've noticed a strange thing with both of them, albeit perhaps minor. I recently got Kingdom Hearts and Suikoden III. I have a copy of both games (havent played either in a long time), and I noticed that in both games, there are opening FMV and sequences. However, on the downloaded versions, it seems that the FMV's are there, but it looks, or sounds rather, like someone dubbed their own music or something like that on it. Why is that ? Is the rest of the game ok ?

Might be you burned to fast on or to bad media...sometimes it just looks like its been dubbed over as the audio hangs behide the video or it frezees for a while making it go out of sync...

I'm using Verbatim x16's (burning at x4) and sometimes on a few games i've played i've noticed video hangs and out of sync audio...

:O

Actually I don't think that it is. The audio seems to come in fine, what I mean is that it seems like someone took out the original audio (i.e, opening score) and put in there own music. I could be wrong, however. I don't have my copy of either game to compare it, but I'm pretty that the score or music in the opening FMV I have from the downloaded games are different from the original. Again, I could be wrong. When people create these ISO's and upload them, did they rebuild it with their own music or strip out the original audio tracks ? I s'pose the only way to find out is to compare it to an original, which I don't have right now =(. BTW, I also use Verbatim DVD-R and burn at 4x. I've been doing that way for all of my games I've backedup and they all work fine.
