Ive got a westell Versalink 327W Modem
My bittorrent client is bitcomet
My dsl connection rate is 864 Down and 160 up
My downloads are usually 30-70Kbps
i portforwarded bitcomet
i disable UPnP
what else in this world is left for me to do?!

I'm no longer aware of the settings in BitComment so you should use uTorrent, the settings are better tweaked for speed to a extent.

Get the http://www.lvllord.de/ patch for SP2.

Download torrents with higher seeds than leeches/peer's and thats aboyut it.

If its that bad get a better connection.

For downloading torrents faster, try BT Engine (http://www.soft4kids.com)
Some people say that it dosen't work, and some say it slows down the speed, but I have a 128KBPS(up/dn) connection and in one night, this prog downloads about 50-75MB more of data for me.
