HI AM FURQAN FROM PAKISTAN.GLITCHED I WANT TO ASK U FEW QUESTIONS.1 IS I HAVE 7 SCREWS IN MY PS2 SO PLZ WHICH V I HAVE GOT.2 IS I HAVE ONLINE START UP DISC WHILE I WAS WATCHING INSTALLATION VEDIO I SAW THT THERE WAS ONLY A NETWORK PORT AT THE BACK OF PS2 WHILE I HAVE TWO PORTS AT THE BACK OF MY PS2 THAT IS A LINE PORT & A NETWOK PORT.NOW I WANT TO ASK U THAT IF I WANT TO CONNECT MY PS2 TO THE INTERNET THROUGH DIAL UP SO IN WHICH PORT I HAVE TO INSERT A CABLE.& 1 MORE QUESTION IS THAT CAN I CONNECT MY PS2 TO MY FRIEND'S PS2.PLZ REPLY ME SOOON.

yes you can connect to the internet, you will require some form of router or network setup to allow your ps2 access to the internet.
if it is setup using a router, switch or hub u will need a straight through cable whereas if you are connecting to the internet by plugging your playstation into your pc then you will need a crossover cable(this is also needed for plugging directly into your friends ps2), the cable you choose will plug into the larger of the two ports on your ps2, i hope this means something to you.

Yes your right bagofcrap, Except for the fact that you cant play ps2 online with a dial up connection. Its bad enough with my 3mbs broadband.

well that just goes to show how shit ps2 online is lol,

i dont use ps2 online but i do use xbox live and i am only on
512kb connection and it runs smoothly all the time,

It is wierd, some ps2's dont have a problem with dialup online play while others do.
