hey dudes, im new to this whole hacking thing,i put homebrew on my 1.5, and it kicks ass, but now im trying to run all the other psp games and ive tried various programs and nothing works, what do i need to do to get gta and the other games working without upgrading from 1.5>?

please help


note: i tired umdrun v.00101 with the decrpyt thing and mphloader and it worked for a few mins then it freezes what do i need to do?

use dev hook
dont put 20+ umd's it will freeze the program

get either .45/.46 DevHook i prefer .45( find the ultimate installer in my sig) boot it and these are the settings

im not try touse 20+ umds i ment, im trying to run 2.0 and up umds on my 1.5......anyways.....

how do i use dev hook?

will it play my gta game on 1.5?

i have the original umd.

if it does could you help me step by step?

i prefer specially gifted, anyway an iso is an image of the disk. SO you can transfer it like a regualr file.

dev hook .46 emulates higher firmwares so if a game requires it it will also play straight away. much like your GTA it requires 2.0 or 2.6.

install dev hook, put Game iso image in the ISO folder on the root of your memory stick, follow ipirate setup settings.

as for the GTA, if you have installed dev hook .46 properly. run the psp without UMD, go to game then memory stick, open "device hook psp firmware emulator", set cpu clock 222/111, set firmware 2.71, then choose start, you can either insert the GTA LCS game UMD during dev hook setup (for autoplay) or at the 2.71 XMB (must select umd game to play)
hope this makes it easier for you, btw i tried it myself now as to assure you the proper steps. it works on my end, hope on yours too.
