okay i just downloaded devhook .45
heres what pirate said:

that makes no sense to me, can sombody explain it so i can understand this?

UMD VERSION - 2.xx --> 2.00
FIRMWARE - 2.71
CPU CLOCK - 222
BOOT SELECT - reboot xmb
and leave other where it is.

okay dude so i selected devhook .45 on my psp, it rebooted up and now and its stuck on a grey menu screen and the green power light is blinking

well when that blinks that usually means the battery is dead and i have never seen that happen when devhook freezes. make sure its not set on 333 mhz becuz it will freeze just like you described. also you downloaded the ultimate installer correct.

well, your right about the flashing green light,so i plugged my charger in, but nayways...
i tried to restart devhook and it did the same thing, reboot, then freeze on the grey menu screen....
so maybe i downloaded it wrong? if i did what could i have done wrong?
how do i download it right?

ok delete the dh folder off your memory stick. Then delete anything with dh in it inside the PSP/GAME folder.
Then go here and download this.

Try the settings posted above once again. Double check to make sure the cpu clock is at 222. Post back results.

i appricate all your help...your awsome dude
but once i hit "x" to get into the devhook it wont let me do anything it shows the settings screen briefly, then reboots then freezes

ok thats your problem as soon as devhook starts hit O to cancel the autorun then correct the settings in the devhook menu. I wish I woulda thought of that.

hey i downloaded the devhook .45 from chaoszero, and when i installed it, i chose devhook.45 with 2.71 firmware, was that right?
and the time clock says 222/111...
whats the problem here?

thats right but devhook autoruns with incorrect settings until u chaneg them. press O and change the settings to the ones stated above.

i did everything you said hex.
hit "o" and i canceled the autorun, i corrected all the settings and it autoran again and reboot and FROZE AGAIN!
is there somthing we missed or is my psp a piece of crap?

well there is nothin we missed but this is odd. your psp is not a pieve of crap theres some minor detail were missing. what does the preload address say it is?

i got the devhookworking but now my homebrew doesnt work, what the fuck is going on?
i wanted a progam that ran both i didnt want afucking 2.71 upgrade!!!
how do i get my homebrew back???
