well i was reading forums and i saw that psptheme can screw up ur psp if u downgraded from 2.6 to 1.5 cause u have "Dirty" firmware or something
1)will upgrading from 1.5 to 2.0 then
downgrading from 2.0 to 1.5 gurantee psp theme to work w/out a brick?
2)how safe is downgrading 2.0 to 1.5 because it seems complicated or the tut's i read are complicated...
3) is there an "easy downgrader" like for 2.6 but for 2.0?
4) can u show me a tutorial for downgrading a 2.0? thats easy to understand?

hello

the 2.0 downgrader is the easiest one to use. all it does is change the firmware version to 1.0 in the index.dat file which then allows you to run the 1.5 sony update eboot. the absolute safest way to downgrade. go to
http://www.psp-hacks.com to get the downgrader.

we're not really sure about the cleanliness of whatcha gonna do!
if you have 1.5 from 2.6 i cant really recommend going to 2.0 then downgrading to 1.0 and 1.5 as the psp you have wasnt designed to operate at 1.0 in the first place and there's certainly a chance of a brick if error occurs.
to be safe i rather tell you to use dev hook and use the themeing options available at higher firmwares emulated.
to give you an idea, 2.0 to 1.5 downgrades this way,
you first open the downgrader picture through you psp 2.0 XMB then zoom scroll to a certain part of the picture which will make the psp do a buffer overflow error this will then reset the psp FW 1.0 then you can now upgrade to 1.5 but at 99% upgrade an error will occur will freeze/reset your psp, which is kind ok cause powering off and on will give you a bugged but highly usable/stable PSP 1.5 fw.

y do u like psp theme its so dumb i would never risk brickin ma psp for that . jus use devhook to emulate 2.71 then use ur own backgrounds with no risk of brikin

just install the custom firmware that has the recover mode and you don't have to worry about bricking you psp
