is there any way to play back up ps2 games without using swap magic, or a mod chip?

i have heard of memory card exploits but know nothing about them, plus you would still need a way to keep the PS2 from resetting if there was swapping involved.

The two you listed are your best options. A good mod chip being the best, swap magic being the cheapest. Plus you will need one other mod to use with swap magic
