I have a white Japanese PSP. Please let me know if there is a way to play other region movies. I checked that my firmware is at 2.5 and didn't upgrade to 2.7. Thanks so much!

you can only watch UMD movies from Japan.
i havent heard of any homebrew program to allow region code bypass.

i dont think the people you were talking about post here at AD.
only feww people buy UMD movies because DVD's are way better/cheaper.
most psp users if ever they watch through their psp is not via UMD but via Memory Stick by which a 1GB stick can hold up to 3-4 full movies.
