I keep gettinng this error
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program still I get this error.

When you uninstalled the 6.6.1.4 version did you also run the clean tool before installing this version?
Your drives firmware is up to date (dell pc) but your drive still doesn't recognize the media - all it sees is that the disc is a DVD+R.
What brand and what's the rated speed of the media you're using?
Like Sony 8x.
Not enough free discspace The dvd from the log appears to be a blank dvd. How much hard drive space do you have left?

Roxio doesn't always play well with Nero. Might be playing into the reset occurred error in the log.
Unsintall Roxio and run the zap tool.

Memorex DVD+R rw 16x 33g.b is the hard drive but when I burn I send everything to the exteral drive 143gb

Sorry forgot to tell you I ran the clean tool after uninstalling. It also burns on the disc but oes not finalize it.

Ok the memorex 16x are part of the problem.
This is an older drive w/ a max burn speed of 4x.
The last firmware update was also from Jan 05 or earlier so 16x media will probably give this drive a problem.
Better to use would be Verbatim or made in Japan only Fuji or Sony (these are usually made by Taiyo Yuden great stuff). Memorex also doesn't use the best manufacturers.
Buy media rated no higher than 8x - 4x if you can find it.
The reset does occur towards the end of the burn so the media may be the problem.
Try new media and let us know how that goes.
