Can't open files with Photosnap viewer

Photosnap Viewer had been working OK. Then, for no apparent reason, it is unable to open any files at all. I just get the message "Unable to open file".
In the associations section there are no options specified.
Also, my menu bar has disappeared... Any one can help??

Open Nero StartSmart, go to Info Tools and locate your version of Nero and let us know the full version number

I have what I need, you are using the good version of Nero, 7.0.8.2, sorry I cant help any further, I thought you may have been using a "buggy" version. Good luck.

Hi, Thanks for that. I believe that it may have something to do with a list of allowable file types. This list is empty. It is accessed through the options/setup. Now the menu bar will not appear either Grrrrrr!!!

i have the same problem with photosnap. it will only open pg files. it used to open jpegs and such. ive been using Nero 7 for half a year and had nothing but problems. ive used the clean tool and reinstalled it several times. im afraid that is probably the solution this time as well.
