Xilisoft DVD Creator won't create ISO only

Greetings. I want to use this software to create an ISO; JUST an ISO. In the "Advanced" settings area, I uncheck the burner and check and name an ISO file. The software processes the AVI but then prompts me for media. Why? Burning is unchecked. All I want to do is write the ISO to disk. So I play along. When I put media into my burner, DVD Creator complains that I don't have drivers for the burner (I certainly do). So... what gives? TIA. Regards.

Well; a while ago I tried this same exact thing w/ a home video of mine I made....and let me tell you; this software SUCKS! It did the exact same thing you described to me......the solution-----I got a prog called convertxtodvd and it works way the hell better;)
