yea i have 2 questions i need to buy a new psp because mine wont turn on all it does is show the green light then it turns off if any one could help it will be appreciated nd my other question was if i get a new one or used but still in the box how will i kno wat firmware it is

depends wherer u gonna buy it from if u do buy a new psp make sure its 1.5 firmware to find out just ask the person who ur buying it from or if ur buying off someone then just turn it on and check wat the fw version is :)

Well if the light comes on then shuts off its more then likely a brick. Did you try flashing anything beforehand. As for buying a used one just tell em you need to check somethin out before you buy it. If theyre interested in making the sale they'll let you see it. If its new find the letter on the box anything under G is good. But Even with H you can still downgrade it.

G = 2.01
H = 2.50

I think some 2.5 psp's are coming with the new TA-082 PCB tho. I could be wrong so if I am someone please correct me.

2 at game stores used psps (witch i recomend)com in the box new ones of cource still come in the box

if it has no letter but a sticker for reg. it is usally a 2.5 TA-082 PSP.ALso this is only for core bundles.
