Okay I got hitman blood money and the iso came out to 3.60GB. I burned lots of ps2 games so I use DVD Decrypter and burned it at 4x on a Taiyo Yuden DVD-R. The game is finished burning so I load up swap magic 3.6 and swap it with hitman blood money, when I press x I immediately get an "Not a valid ps2 disc" at the bottom of the screen in blue. I tried burning it again same way same thing happened. I then tried a third time with Alcohol 120% and it still did the same thing. I don't know what to do. Is this game a problem game or something? I wasted three dvd's so far and don't know should I just leave it alone. Burning at a slower speed is not a choice my dvd burner doesn't burn correctly at speeds like 2x and below for games.

Okay Im about to rebuild the iso Ill post again if it still doesn't work.
Edit: Im sorry for being a newb but whats the password for the rar file? Gnie's ps2 auto rebuilder rar download asks for a password when I try to extract it.
Edit 2: Nevermind I found the pass.

It doesn't work for me. When I click extract lba it says "Error invalid file header" But I think the rebuilder is unnecessary because the file I have is only 3.60GB. I just don't know why I get invalid ps2 disk when I use swap magic.

How can I be sure? I don't want to try it again and it still doesn't work. I don't want to waste another dvd. Is there a way to check if th e iso is messed up or something?

Maybe you just got a bad ISO. Try to rip it again (or download, which is what I assume you did). Where there any errors during the rar extraction?

You can't be positive it'll work. I've wasted a ton of DVD's, mostly in the past. Look at it like an investment, you might get some coasters now, but the knowledge you gain will help you make successful backups in the future. Believe me, I'm aware how cliched that is, but it's true.
There's still two other methods of rebuilding, try one of those. Rebuilding with Nero and IsoBuster is a snap, give it a whirl.

THANKS! It works now. I rebuilt it but the iso came out the same size as before but I burned it still at 2x and it works now! Thanks. The rebuilding seemed unuseful since the iso was the same size as before. Now Im not sure should I just use Nero and burn at 2x for the rest of my future burning?
Edit: Wasted my time for nothing. The game is in german and I don't speak or know anything german and plus it froze once while playing. Oh well at least it worked.

Im using 8x DVD-R TY's. All my other games work perfectly burned at 4x except hitman was the exception.

Seriously, try burning at 8x. If I'm not mistaken, Hitman is a constant disc access game.

For some reason I can't burn at 8x with my TY's. WhenI burn only 4x and 2x are shown. I was only able to burn 8x dvd's on a 16x dvd. I don't know why its like that. Anyway Im not going to burn hitman again since its in german and I don't understand it so it'll be useless and you can't change the language.

Thats normal for this game, it is constantly accessing the disc for info, so there'll be a lot of disc/laser activity.
