I'm not against them, but then I have a 1.5 and would never dream of upgrading, and they do add some decent features now and again, like locationfree.

those features where to attract all current low firmware users specially 1.5 users. thus minimizing people that have psp's that can run user created softwares such as homrebrews and loaders. thus lowering game software piracy.
hope they would incorporate more productive features as i dont see em really attractive for people that uses homebrew.
web browser - this is the only usefull one i see.
location free player - the outrageous cost cannot justify the use. around $250, i live in japan so its Yen 30,000
RSS - not many people need this
portable tv - there's tv around the house and its bigger.
wma/flash support - my tiny portable music player does this too.

and all those can be done also by homebrew.
