Hi I downloaded some video files from eMule, tasty stuff I'm sure but I can't watch them.

If I try to open them I'm told that I need to aquire a license and a web window pops up and gives me grief about parting with cash.

How can I watch my vids? How can I avoid downloading strings-attached files in the first place?

All suggestions welcome, Thanks.

Well first off I know exactly what your talking about.They want money and sometimes will give you a virus so watch out!

There's no way around it.Those are digital licences.As far as not downloading them in the first place you will notice many smaller sized files with the same exact file size when searching, avoid these.Large files won't do this in general.You can download small files but just make sure it's an oddball number of a file size.
