Hi, just wanted to know if safe for me to let my psp charge over night and all day long if I dont use it.

This is what I used to do until my friend told me I should not as it could damage the PSP. Is this true.

Some thing similar to this happened to my laptop as i kept it on, or on charge 24/7 and the battery went from 3 hours of life to just 10 mins.

Some laptops have also exploded recently, could this happen to my PSP?

Here are the links:

Thanks.

just to confirm what stevenps2 said, the psp does stop charging when the battery is full, so you have nothing to worry about

Ok, I thinks it safe but i kept my laptop on all the time and eventually the battery life came down, it could also happen to the psp battery.

Ive read somwhere that psp battery's do have some kind of life expectancy of 5 years or so.. thats the time you need to buy a new one.. however its fine its not too expensive ive seen batteries 2300V (5 to 7 hours of playin) for only $15 US...
