hi everyone i wouldlik to talk to you about my new problem i just downloaded a game named fifa world cup fro psp oknoiw the problem is i dont know how to put it in you know any way could nay one help oh if forgot my version is 2.80 and thats it im ready to anything on y psp so does games work ok thank you very much

Well as of now you can play ISOs with 2.80 firmware. Im not to keen on all this stuff but Im sure you cant play. Sorry

You can only play ISOs on 1.5 PSPs. There's not alot you can do at the moment as 2.80 PSPs cant be downgraded.....

try buying another one with fw 2.01 or lower, using the box technique, which is found here:http://www.psphacks.net/content/view/437/2/ . make sure you buy from bestbuy or some store with a money back guarentee.once you have both psp's, return the 2.80 one and run out of the store. then downgrade your psp to 1.5 using the easy downgrader and you're set.

p.s. with the box technique, make sure your get one that is a to g, anything higher has a chance of having a ta-082 motherboard and cannot be downgraded.

The comfirmed codes are:

No letter = 1.0 (Japanese Release) 1.5 (North-American release) confirmed
A = 1.5 confirmed
B = 1.51 confirmed
C = 1.52 confirmed
D = 1.52 confirmed
E = 1.52 confirmed
F = 2.0 confirmed
G = 2.01 confirmed
H = 2.50 confirmed
I = 2.60 confirmed

Or buy a modchip :P.

another tip for you.. wait a few more months im sure some people are looking for ways for other firmwares to be downgradable.. unless their too lazy and use the modchip as an alternative..:)

Or do what i did and have the mod chip installed. I just got mine today in the mail. It works awesome. You don't need any emulators to play ISO files. So far so good.

you can downgrade a 2.6 but you have to have a certain motherboard
(NOT TA-082)
