Hi,

I'm running into a few problems on my devhook and dont really completely understand what it does.
I mean i know it emulates firmware so you can run your umd's on 1.5 etc but i dont get how you acutally make it run your ISO's

Please help asap many thanks,

you select the isos before emulating put a UMD in and in the emulated firmware click on the UMD game icon.

When you first load Devhook select 'UMD Mount' select 'AnyISO' (I think that's what is says). Then got to 'UMD Select' pick the ISO you want to play and then 'Start'.

If you wanna change ISO then go back to the Home screen, hold the 'Home' button and press 'R' to cycle through your ISOs. Then just select the UMD icon under the Game menu.

Also do i have to do somthing to the iso before i put it into the ISO folder on root of the mem stick ?

When i load devhook it says the following options ;
Start
UMD Select
Firmware
Cpu Clock
Boot Select
Flash Rom
Other Menu
Exit Devhook

Which one do i select to load my iso's that require higher firmware

Not sure as Im still using Devhook 0.44 as there's nothing I cant play using it so not bothered to upgrade. The options are slightly different on yours.

It only says Umd Disc when i click on umd select :S

have you got a folder named ISO at the root of ur ms stick? with the iso's in?

I got my iso's from dumping them on fast loader could it be anything to do with that

I havent got that version of Devhook so not 100% sure, but try selecting 'Boot Select'....it will probably then give you option to select ISO rather than UMD.

hmm havent used fastloader, taking your using tht to make back up, bt 4 devhook to work u need a folder named ISO at the root of your stick where PSP and dh would be, and in the ISO folder should be the iso files, where have you put your iso files?

Most people use Fastloader to obtain an ISO from a UMD so it wont be anything to do with that. You just need to select the correct options in Devhook.

also in boot select it says the following options ;
Reboot XMB
Reboot UMD (1.50 only)
Load run UMD (1.50 only)
MPHGL (1.50 only)
RunUMD (1.50 only)

Are you positive cuase if so it must be a problem with the dump becuase when i transfered the dumped iso's onto my pc. my pc did not regonise them as iso's

They need renaming once dumped....just rename them to .iso and they will work fine.

Also could someone please supply me with the all the decrypted files from firmware 2.6 as i cant run the gta cheat device on the 2.71 devhook so i need the 2.6 firmware to load it
