i have tried various converter and each one just keeps saying processing but doesnt complete the video i was trying to convert was only 13mb but seemed to be taking forever.also can the psp play any other video format other than mp4?

I use ImTOO Converter. There is a specific ImTOO PSP Converter that I have used but I have an ImTOO converter that will convert any video format into any other video format so I just use that as its the same thing but with more options.

Later firmware versions can play other formats like .avi

i tried with 2.6 fw and it didnt work... dont think 2.71 would either, but theres no harm in trying ;)

i just put the AVI file in the 100mnv01 folder

Edit: btw i use psp movie creater to convert.. i tested it with some other converstion softwares i had like xilosoft but psp movie creater was the fastest and very user friendly. u get to chose the size of the converted file etc

ok i tried the imtoo converter it did the same thing it completed but when i went on the output directory it was 0kb the final thing :(

or try mediacoder. search for it on google. its fast and it converts anything. i then transfer movies to my psp with imTOO psp video converters, psp manager feature.
