I'VE TRIED DOING THE DS DOWNLOAD PLAY IVE LEFT IT ON FOR HOURS AND HOURS BUT CAN TPICK UP ANYTHING HELP

I'm guessing he doesn't realize how download play is meant to be used...

Download play only works with single cart multiplayer and download stations. If you select and no one is hosting a single cart multiplayer game or you aren't at a download station, nothing will show up.

certain places such as department stores or game conventions will have a local access point. You can go near one of them and download game content or demos onto your DS.
