sup guys, wel i have a 1.00 psp and i tried the ir shell on it and it worked perfectly. then i used themepsp through the ir shell and installed a superman theme, and it glithced my psp a lil, so i just updated to 1.50 and then downgraded to 1.00 again nd i saw that everything got fixed, so then i thought that maby it wus just that theme that wuz fucked up, so i tried the pimp my ride theme, but then wen i exited the ir shell the psp restarted normally and then wen it wuz about to load the menus, it froze and just shut down. and now wen i turn my psp on it loads up and u see the bg but then again wen its gunna load the menus i freezes for a ouple of seonds and den shuts down. is there any way to fix this?
i tried that, it does load the umd perfectly, but wen i press the home button and press yes, it does the same exact thing, only it also loads the battery meter. someone in another forum told me that it is a font problem in the flash, cuz i did use themepsp wich is a homebrew that only works on 1.50. but since it started normaly i thought that it might work. is there any way that i can load up gta so i can load up file assistant to change the fonts that the theme installed with the 1.00 regular fonts. actualy all i need is fileassistant to load up and i can fix the rest easily. any ideas?
thats a good idea, but how would i get the updater to load if i cant load up the psp menu, cuz it freezes wen it tries to load anything but the bg and the battery meter.
well if it loads the game and pulls the screen system needs to be update, and then u click circle or whatever, then maybe it would load farther or something, i'm not sure....
thats the thing, it doesnt load up that screen, if the umd is a umd that requires a higher firmware like gta for example, it just freezes nd shuts down after the bg is loaded.
