its just like connecting to a normal wirless connection. go to network settings > infastructure mode > new connection > connection name > scan > pick the access point used in the hotspot > none > easy. thats it, just go to your web browser in your psp and it should connect to the internet. it can be used in any version of a psp that has a web browser

I don't know if its safe to use that web browser or not because i havenet ever used devhook, but it shouln't cause any problems on your psp if you use it.

i choose scan.. and there showed 2 choices.. one is KRL that has a signal strength of 10% the other is a linksys signal strength 100% both encryption are WEP.. then i chose linksys.. now its showing that my SSID is linksys encryption WEP.. then i pressed enter again now comes the hard part.. shows a keyboard of some sort.. whatever i type it just goes back to the previous page im stuck here.. if i press the forward button its asking for a WEP key which i have no idea what is... i tried writing a random key.. then it replied "The key you hvave entered is invalid Enter a 10 - or 26 character key when using hexadecimal or a 5 - or 13- character key when using ASCII characters. which i really dont have any idea whats it talking about.. any suggestions would help

Make sure your wlan switch is on, if it is, theres probably a password you need to connect to the network
Try connecting to krl if you can't connect to linksys

well the little switch on the lower left is up.. the krl has also the same encryption which is WEP... ok followed your advice to the letter.. and tried the krl with the same result.. i think i have to use WEP instead of none.. seeing that all the encryption are from WEp my only prob is how to get the WEP key any idea where to get that from? whats WEP by the way?

try disabling wep, im not sure how you would do this on your router because i have a d-link. try opening up your browser and entering 192.168.1.1 For the username leave it blank and type in admin for the password. go to the wireless tab and you might be able to disable it from there

Anyone tried the new PSP spots they have now? There is one in E-play in my town, but I didn't have my PSP with me that day. You use the game share function to connect, it had a video for dave chappele's block party that you could download. I wanna try it out, but Sony aren't gonna sneak a 2.8 network update on me or anything are they?
Any Devhook users using PSP Spots out there? Any good or not worth it?
