I'd hate for it to come out and have no options for playing it aside from upgrading the firmware.
Will there be a solution soon after it comes out that will let you boot up the game when you turn on the system without any trickery?

yes theres a solution. You can play any game on 1.5
psp 1.50 with DH 3.01 emu
ps2
xbox
xbox 360
nintendo Wii

Just downgrade to 1.50, as long as you don't have the TA-082 mobo

Here before too long we wont be able to play all games tho. Sony is gonna start releasing games that require 2.8 to run and the highest firmware we can emulate with devhook is 2.71. Oh well wont be long until we can emulate 2.8 tho.

Ja you're telling me. He without a doubt, created one of the most popular homebrew applications. I use to have alot of homebrew on my psp. Now all I have is devhook. And I'll occasionally throw on the SNES emulator but I usually use my xbox for emulation.

Thats what my xbox is for. I dont even use it for xbox games. But even the box has troubles emulating the 64 at full speed. Cant wait for emulation on the 360 tho :)

lmao, that would be good, i think sony know what theyre upto and being crafty, they pull that law thing over devhook, and like hex said theyll release games with 2.8 so we cant play them, YET! lol

I think everyone should donate some cash towards a new psp as he has done so much for the psp community, if we got a lot of people to donate it would only be a matter of like a pound each.

Yeah I think so, especially as he could have quite easily just tried to sell all of his work to make some cash, I say one good turn deserves another, we could give it to him as a gift from AD.
