I have BitTorrent 4.4.1 and uTorrent 1.6. Is it safe to use them both to download files? Will they crash, will they speed up my downloads, make them slower or what?

I know for a fact that both clients would need a seperate port open. As with speed I would think it would be slighty slower as you using more of your computer resources. Why not use the same client? Does utorrent or the original client allow this. I wouldnt know bc I think they both suck but give it a try.
