Honestly, Today i started thinking what am i gonna do with my backups? as i was wondering so im trying to ask you, what i mean is what are you gonna do when you have 300 backups lying in your room and you sold your ps2 or something like that? im never gonna think of putting them in the bin.Im thinking of giving them away to someone who has a modded ps2 but not sell them as i dont wanna get in trouble? whats your thoughts ,tell me what i should do or what you are gonna do with your backups when you finish and had enough?

I'm going to hoard mine like a little rat, so when I'm old and grey my grandkids can laugh at how dumb they are compared to what we'll have in the future. Kind of like playing pitfall on atari 2600 :)

I just bought a Xbox 360 like 2 days ago, and I gave my ps2 and 300+ backups to my son.

you have a son? wow that gave me a surprise no offence but i never you knew you had a son.well good on you! lucky you get to know who to give your backups away. i dont.

also heres a calcutlation that i counted in my head, if theres about 2500 ps2 games at the cost of $100-110 your be wasting $27,000 at least,if you had rented 2500 games at the price of $5-7 your waste like $7000 + at least $500-3000 dollars for blank dvds . so your be saving at least $17,000 - $20,000 maybe even more.

i will save it in my closet with all my games. Then one day when gaming gets really advanced i will pull it out and start telling those "remember when" stories like you would if you had an old Atari 2600 sitting around. It will be a classic.

If we're able to play backup ps2 games on the ps3 sometime in the future then that'd be great.. if not I'll continue to buy PS2 console + mod it when the current one breaks down :)

Take the magnets out of a standard harddrive, rub over the used dvd's it erases the data. Like a floppy disk. You got your dvd blanks back

Yeah man, I've got 2 sons. A 3 1/2 year old who is hooked on Burnout Revenge & Flatout 2 and a 1 month old son who likes to watch his brother play "my playstation".

I'll go off and mod this 360 now and start the process over again. Only thing I'm not going to do this time is get EVERYTHING. With the PS2, I still have over 200 games I haven't spent 5 minutes with. Booted em up to see if they worked and put em in a DVD case.
