I know of people (not personal friends but people on the net) who have sent bricked PSPs back to Sony. Its certainly worth a try...worst they can do is send it you back.

Its common sense man, psp's dont brick themselves. How the hell would you brick a psp unless you were fooling with homebrew that Sony doesnt endorse? Think things through and you can figure things out :)

yeah but if you say you were upgrading to 2.8 and the ac was plugged in and there was a power cut, and then ur psp bricked tht wud wrk, ppl have said that and got sony to replace there psps

Thats a valid reason, but you will have to fight to the death, because Sony knows what you are really up to :/ If they dont, they deserve to get played by dummies who brick their psp's.

i know (from experiance)that if you send your psp with the latest fw and warranty is still in tact they will send you back a fw 2.60 psp because they are not going to sell psp's with fw over 2.60 because of ps3 coming out

What is funny(strange) is I just D-worded NFL street 2 unleashed and it contained a Trojan PSPbrick virus in overflow. Does this usually happen?
P.S. Boston is ok but it feels soooo good to be home!!
