hi, i have bitcomet this is a very noob question but when i download a movie or anything theres a little file that goes on my desktop and it says the info on what i downloaded and if i want to start to download it....so i push ''ok''....but after that can i erase that file from my desktop...i did it already and nothing happend to my download....but when its finished will it be ok?...or do i need to keep that little file on my desktop?.......VERY newbie....thanks alot!

as long as it is a text file or a .nfo file, you should be okay deleting it.

dude don't talk about dowing loading movies from torrent sites, just say i got this file ok, downloading movies from torrent sites is like a big no no here and you could get banned for talking about it ok just a heads up, good luck

@rdmercer1 - while i totally agree with you, sometimes its ok to give people the benifit of the doubt, right? he didn't name what movie he was downloading. it could very well be a non-copywrited film from a university or family member's web site.

He did absolutely nothing wrong. Its not smart to admit to dl'ing a movie via P2P, but he has not broken any forum rules.

That file is nothing, feel free to delete it.
