i/o Magic UXB dvd burner problems

I just bought an i/omagic 16x USB dvd burner. Every time I try to burn with it, the drive disappears from windows half way through the write. I have only made coasters with it. I have two other usb drives hooked up to the system, and I have no problems with them. I have tried burning with Nero7, and with Windows, and keep coming up with the same problems. I would appreciate any help that I can get.

Im no expert but I would trying unpluggin the other two drives while trying to burn with the I/O Magic. And see if that helps. if not post back.
