yeh hey everyone, i dont think ive seen a topic on this so i posted my own. well heres my problem: at my home, i use a Thomson SpeedTouch 576, and on socom when online i cant hear or speak anything through the mic. But when i am at my cousins house, unaware of his routers make/model, i can both hear and speak fine.
any help on this topic would be kindly appreciated.

dunno if its the same as the ps2 but you had to open ports on your router.dunno if its the same for psp tho?

ye steven, i am unaware if that is what i must do, but i havent ever owned a socom game previously so im hoping for another reply on this one, though this is one game i have really liked

to get on your router config page type http://192.168.1.1 it should bring your routers config page on intenet explorer

i do know how to bring up my routers page, but this page doesnt sepcificly help my router
but ill give it a try

sure im gonna try, btw on that site,
it says
Type - Start - End - IP Address
UDP - 10070 - 10080 - (your PSP's IP address)
IP - 10070 - 10080 - (your PSP's IP address)
UDP - 6000 - 7000 - (your PSP's IP address)
UDP - 50000 - 50000 - (your PSP's IP address)
how do you find out your psps ip adress, i know my comps, and my default gateway but i didnt know the psp had an ip adress

youll need to assign an ip for it on your router then type that in your psp

it doesnt matter, i did the configuring, and it showed up with my computer in the where you assign the port cofigure to.
ill tell if it works.

im gonna keep at it, i hope someone else know what to do,
the prob for me is not many ppl have thomson routers so i dont really know what to do

alien i had the same problem with my ps2 with socom 3 go here and it should sort you out ...... http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm
it helped me alot if it dont work i dunno wot else 2 do but try alot of socom 3 related threads because it sounds the same!
P.s nice sig but i think id kick ya ass with paul on tekken if ya fancy a 1 vs 1 pm me ;)

ive tried portforward.com.
but still no avail to my problem.
muhaha no1 can touch me when im using either paul, yoshimitsu or jin kazama, plus bryan fury, but unfortunately i am flying to pakistan on tuesday so i wont be able to play you, but when i come back prepare for a game!
instead of a 1-1 how about team battle 4-4

you need 2 find out the ports thats blockin you this is sooooooo annoyin my friend had the same problem its just a matter of trial and error remember once you change settings on your router you have 2 do a fulkl system reboot before it takes affect i know my friend had this problem because he thought it worked straight away!! :(
P.s its on son........does the mic work with tekken? that would be so cool if we could annoy each other while fighting lol
