i just ripped my PAL LCS and then burned it, after i used the pal2ntsc patch/yfix tool. on my NTSC tv i still get swiping lines. any known problems with compatibility between the patcher and the PAL image? thanks.

What do you mean by swiping lines? PAL2NTSC patcher with Y fix and Adr patcher aren't perfect, they have a fair amount of compatibility issues. Try Adr patcher.

37. Q. I downloaded a PAL game, how do I convert it to NTSC?
A. Use Adrenaline patcher if it's an EA game: http://www.megagames.com/ps2/ps2_utils_files.shtml#ADRenalin%20Patcher Note: I've been told this works for non EA games as well. The screen won't be perfectly centered, unless you have a modchip that forces video mode. Or patch with PAL2NTSC patcher with Y fix for non EA games: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/121718
