I recently backed up my copy of initial d for ps2. I used DVD Decrypter to rip it and also to burn it. I burned it at the slowest possible time wich i believe was 2.4x. I used a verbatim DVD+R on my TssTcorp dvd burner. I also make a copy of another game and it too had a very long loading times. Im using swap magic on a slim v12 ps2. I was reading a thing on book keeping or something that made the ps2 thing the DVD+R was a DVD-R but DVD Decrypter doesnt support a Tsstcorp burner. Can someone please help? Thanks!

Book typing allows a DVD+R to appear as a DVD-ROM to a DVD drive. DVD-ROM is the most universally compatible DVD format. There's guides in my sig for the four most commonly used programs, including info on how to book type. Are those 16x Verb's by chance? If you can't figure out which model burner you have, use Nero or Alcohol to book type, it doesn't matter what model burner you have with those programs.

If they are 16x, burn at 8x with DVD Decrypter. You're burning too slow. I bet this solves the slow loading issue.

Try burning at 8x. If that doesn't work, it could just be your PS2 doesn't take to 16x media, a lot don't. If you get three or four coasters in a row, that's likely.

Hey thanks allot. Actually I updated all my drivers and then I burned it at 8x and sure enough it loads like a regular game. So that actually solved my problem :)
