Yes you can use Nero. Just go to Nero's Smart and under audio options select the one called "Convert Audio CD's To Audio Files" if you want to rip CD's. If you want to change formats, use "Encode Audio Files". If you are going to use Nero to convert between different formats, I recommend downloading Cole2K Nero Plugins.

If I always hear voices surrounding me, does it mean Im crazy or that I hear in Dolby 5.1?

For converting vinyl you'll need a cable to connect to your analog source(turntable>amp)to your sound card INPUT> one end of cable has a L and R RCA type plug for the amp out and the other end a minature stereo headphone's plug for your sound card. You can use Nero's sound editor. I have not used it. I have used the EZCD sound editor for this task for years. And Yes I still have both programs installed with no conflicts, but no Nero InCD installed. It's time consuming because you have to play the music in real time. But gratifing to hear how the music is supposed to sound with all the minor pops and cracks. You have to set your sound card to "record" to activate the record inputs if they are muted.

Sorry I totally messed up with that post. I was actually trying to answer other audio post that involved Nero. I got my tabs mixed...

What Nero version do you have? Also, do you have it running in standard or expert mode?

@zupermano

you want to use Nero Sound Editor it's part of the Nero Suite 6.6(one I use) and I'm sure 7.0 has it too.

Audacity is the best freeware out there. You could edit and save it. Then you can burn with your favorite software.
