Transferring files from 1gb to 2gb stick?

I want to put all my information onto my new 2gb memory stick. Can I simply transfer all the folders etc to the new memory stick? Or do I need to run Devhook again etc onto new stick?

Copy to PC, swap memory cards, copy to memory card
