I'm looking at a tv projector. I understand PAL and NTSC, but this model says

Color System: PAL/NTSC-PAL/SECAM.

What is NTSC-PAL?
Thanks.

I had a Sony TV that was PAL, NTSC, and SECAM compatible when I was stationed in Germany. It would play all the formats without any adapters and worked on either 120v/60hz or 240v/50hz. A really cool setup. It gave up the ghost a few years ago.

Suspect the unit you are looking at will at least play all the formats. What do the sales people say? Do they have a clue?

Well, I was browsing online and came across it.

I also figured it would play all those region formats but was just unsure if PAL-NTSC meant PAL or NTSC, or it was somethin else that wouldn't play in the states.

Thanks.
