WOW! today was sooooo cool cus i went to the libary with ma psp cus they hav an access point there ye so i tried to connect to the internet ye and it came on and it was amazin'! i went on google ye and went on images and typed somit in ye.....and it took ages to load tho.........thats the only downside of it! but waw its well smart 1nce u get it goin lol.
hav any of u's been on it yet??

you can, press triangle when your using the web browser and go to tools, settings, and home page settings

i've only been on w/ my 2.6 just cuz the battery died in my 1.5 when i was at the hotspot at the mall, crap is too slow, like painstakingly slow (almost drank my soda before it loaded a forum site[not ad]) but it's alright i guess, i've never been one for wireless.

hodgins, get wifisniffer, and just drive around looking for open networks. it makes a nice little log too of un-secure and secure networks along w/ WEP/WAP, it doesn't brute force the ones that are secured. but i walked 2 blocks and had 20 hits for routers by my house (i walked to the gas station for bottle of pop) i've not tried to get onto any, it was just interesting to see how many open networks there are.

there are quite a few MCd's globally that offer hotspots, i'm not sure if there is anywhere to look and see which ones though.
