Hey there everyone. So here is the deal, I am planning on getting a new laptop this summer and I am having trouble deciding which route to take. I am thinking I will go with HP because I am usually happy with their products, but my college gives me a deal if I buy from dell. My biggest descision is whether to do the itel duo processor setup or the AMD 64 2x setup. I am a typical college guy who plays/burns music, dvds games ect ect. I am not a crazy gamer by any sort, but I would like to be able to run new games for a year or two so something with a decent graphics card is a plus. You guys seem to know everything about everything, so lets hear it. Thanks for the help.

ye they're overpriced and recently, there have been a few battery issues with them. if you buy a new laptop, look for the intel core duo, as it is the best laptop proc available or go for a centrino duo.

you're right! i thought that they were 2 dif processors. in most reviews i've read, they referred to it as core duo only so i thought that they were dif and core duo was better. my mistake.

in the future, please just continue a thread versus starting your own replica.
