Alright guys so first off I want to apologise if the information I'm asking for could of been searched. I tried my best to find any topics that could help.

Here's my problem I have Alcohol 120%, Dvd encrytor and a dvd burner. I backed up my game Shadow of the colosus and have it's ISO on my desktop. When I go to burn it with the two programs each one gives me an error on my ps2 saying it's not readable. Another problem is the lowest speed I can burn at is 4x nothing lower for some weird reason.

Anyway if you guys could help it would be greatly apreciated.

BTW I don't have a mod chip or anything special.

What kind of media are you using? Try some Verbatim 8x DVD-R. And does your PS2 play originals fine? I think it's the media though.

I've been using Maxell DVD+R and also theese no brand DVD+RW 2.4x Speed ones.

Maxell sucks for ps2 backups. I say get some TY, Verbatim or Sony discs and burn at half the media's rated speed. Oh yeah DVD+RW will wreck your laser faster than using a magnet on it.
