A friend of mine who accidentally purchased 2.7 wants to know if there's a way for 2.7 to play older PSP umd?
I haven't clarified the entire thing yet! But this wat he told me!
Is there way for it to kinda emulate older firmwire? Or is there a way to access it?

You dont need to emulate older firmware. 2.7 can play all games from any previous firmware version. Just not a game past 2.7. Pop the UMD in and play it. Easy as that.

So anything above 2.7 can't b played w/o upgrading r8? It can't downgraded or play any homebrew r8?
Anyways I'm gonna ask him to let me try it out! Coz the whole thing is kinda vague! Anyways I'll post some updates!

Right now I dont think there is any games that require firmware higher then 2.7 to run so you'll/he'll be fine. 2.7 cant be downgraded.....yet. No homebrew too.

ya u can play any umd game in fw 2.7 obveously as its the newest one. but if u want iso free games which doesn't require u the umd of the game
then uhave to downgrade it but the downgrade for fw 2.7 has not come out. and then have to get devhook....
