I can't get the DGEN emulato on my 2.6 to work. Can you help me to set it up or give me a link to a version working on 2.6. I have already tried DGEN 1.60. Thanks

You running it using GTA exploit ? That's the only way it will work on a 2.6 PSP I believe....why not just downgrade to 1.5 ?

I'm to scared to downgrade and i am running alot of homebrew already. I just can't get DGEN to work. I start it up, it says Path found PSP>GAME>DGEN>EBOOT.PBP Press a button to continue. I press a button and it goes blank. No memory stick light flashing either. I then have to cold boot my psp. Please Help :(

Just downgrade it and save yourself a load probs. Its so easy to do....
Ive done about 10 x 2.6 PSPs already for people I know. Not a single problem with any of them. You've obviously already got GTA on UMD so you could be on 1.5 in about 5 mins time....

Just dont tell them. I honestly dought they will check your firmware while you are asleep.

But if they see me loading Rider Racer (they know its a UMD) what will they think. Also, what if i brick my PSP in the process. What wil i say? "Hi Mum, just bricked my PSP, no biggie" I don't think so

Ive have used these exact files each time Ive done one.
Its really quite easy...it has on screen pictures and prompts so you cant go wrong if you follow them exact. It will literally take you 5 mins to do.
If you r gonna do it then give one of us a shout if you can stuck at any point ;) :)

Look if you were capable to get homebrew to work on your v2.6 then your capable of a easy downgrade. Obviousely you are not a complete utter noob at this. And besides everyone has those bricking worries. I did to when I first downgraded. And that was as soon as I got my psp so i didnt know a thing excep that I wanted a v1.5.

If they see you playing it then it will be too late by then as you will already have done it, lol.
Providing you do the motherboard check first I very much doubt you will brick your PSP unless you do something completely stupid like switch it off during the downgrade....
