I am the owner of DVD Wizard Pro. There seems to be some confusion on here about our product. We recently released a new program that that allows you to backup your DVD movies to DVD-R(W)/+R(W), CD-R(W), and DivX. This does not require any additional downloads, we provide a demo on our website. When we first released this new software we had some serial issues, we try to take care of any concerns in a timely manner, but some want instant response, and that is really not going to happen.

We still offer an ebook on how to copy games as a bonus, since there really is not reason to create a program that does this, and have to deal with the legal hassles.

I fully agree with the above people. I bought your product under the impression that it would work to make backups of my movies and games. I can't get either to work. I can't find any info about a playstation game, only Xbox. I have tried reinstalling several times, I have tried many different movies, and all I get is a NON-WORKING DVD. Your site doesn't offer a free download, it says you can get your money back and it says that it will work. NONE OF THIS IS TRUE!!!!! I ordered the product through regnow and they can't help me get my money back and your support staff won't give it back. I am very unsatisfied, I have a new computer that it should work for and it doesn't. I WANT MY MONEY!!!!!!!! Step up to the plate and back up your product... give me my money back and show the free version to us. Make it work and I'll rebuy it. Until then, Can i get my money back?? Your site says you can get it back, so, why aren't you??????

All these people getting there money back are goign through 1click, and they are fully aware that your product sucks and will give the customers the money. To bad regnow hasn't picked up on it. They won't help me and you won't. It is just one big scam!!!!!

We have no reason to scam anyone, and just so people know , our credit card processor is not 1click, we use Clickbank. We offer full information on our refund policies in our FAQ. The truth is that some people want to smear our product, just for the sake of doing so. We do offer a demo, it allows you to copy 10 minutes of video. I will post a link, and as everyone can see, no shareware, or other downloads are needed. We use to offer an tutorial ebook, with information on how to copy DVD, this included links to other programs, including shareware, we made this fact clear before any purchases we're made. As for refunding the purchase because it does not work, every program has bugs, if a problem arises, then we address it and make the fixes needed, we try to offer support before we immediately issue a refund. Within one month we are going to be releasing a new version that allows you to copy the entire DVD, menus and extras included.

http://www.dvdwizardpro.com/download/dvdwizardpro.exe

As for the game copy information, again, this is an ebook, we make this clear. We do not state that you can play games on your console without a chip, since this would be impossible at this time, you can however play some emulator games on your PC without any type of modification. If any members cannot find the PS2, or PSX information please email me and I will direct you to this information personally.

You are entitled to your opinion, but I will state the facts regardless. Is that all you have to say. I proved my product worked, I provided a demo. You claimed that DVD Wizard Pro "sucks and it is free ware". Do you have anything more intelligent than that to say? Everything you said was complete BS. This program provides a state of the art burning SDK, MPEG encoders, DivX encoders, plus more, and we beat prices of every one of our competitors.

even if that is all true, you cannot deny that you promote the main product on the back of the ability to back up video games which most people reading your marketing literature assume to be as good as you make it sound. You know the reality is very different and if your main dvd product is so good why not just concentrate on its strengths instead of misleading people?

A lot of people are actually very happy with the tutorial guides on how to copy console games. The only problem for some users is they believe they can play copied games without a chip, this is simply not possible. We provide information on external chips, and information on emulator type programs for those who do not wish to void their warranties. With our next update we will make it more clear that the game copy product is a tutorial guide, not an actual program as many believe.

I agree with you guys. The advertising and the product are VERY misleading.

I bought Platinum DVD Copy and it works EXCELLENT!! I know it is twice the cost of this crappy product but, it works!! I can make a back up of movies in less than an hour and television series DVDs in alittle over an hour.

This product takes almost two hours and STILL doesn't work.

As for the owner: you may not give me my money back, but the word or mouth, these threads, all other forums, and any place I can think of that isn't listed, will have a very unpleasant message about your product. (of course, just my personal opinion and experience, but that would be enough to stop me as a consumer to buy it) Your company will hopefully loss more money by not giving me my refund than if you had sucked it up and gave me the $40.
I read over and over about your refund and I meet the requirement. It doesn't work on my computer. I am not going to waste my time writing a detailed explanation of what is wrong with this product to get a two line response that does nothing. It took me almost a week to get the company to send me a valid Serial number. They kept telling me to type is exactly right, excuse me but I figured that out all on my own) That wasn't the problem, the problem was the orignial was invalid. But, instead of reading my e-mail and seeing my exact issue they just would glance and respond with some generic BS that did nothing but waste my time having to write again. So, how affective would it be to even write about my problem getting the software to actually work. Not to mention that the PS2 game thing STILL hasn't been really addressed in my e-mails sent to the suppport center. Everybody says, look in your ebook and contact with more help. Well, considering I have wrote and told them that I still can't find anyhting in the ebook about it, and they still write the same BS in response. That isn't help, that is pathatic!!! So, if they can't even help me find the info about backing up PS2 games, how the hell are they going to tell me how to fix the program to work on my laptop, especially by e-mail.

So, I am going to suck up the $40, it would be my 11th day writing for a refund if I continued to try. But, instead I will take pride in letting all consumers know what I think (and apparently alot of other people that have been suckered). I might not be able to help myself, but I will save others from this horrible situation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I almost forget... Platinum also has a helpline that you can CALL, 24 hours a day and they will tell you ON THE PHONE, INSTANTLY what to do to fix the product if you had a problem. Unlike this product!!!

We have no problem offering refunds. Once a request is made we usually put in a refund that same day. We will first try to offer support for any problems experienced. With serial problems, we will first try the serial in question for ourselves, if the serial works we will direct our customer on how to enter it correctly. Usually this happens because the name entered is case sensitive, and the customer is simply not typing it correctly, or the customer simply does not remember what name they used. We deal with all of these issues. We are currenly working on a way for a customer to retrieve lost registration information to prevent problems like this in the future.

I recently purchased DVD Wizard Pro. I was able to copy all 5 of the dvds that I was trying to copy. I had 1 problem at first and was able to resolve it using the help function. I had the older version of DVD wizard pro and it was pretty crappy. The old program was pretty much an E-book and was hard to use. When I saw that they have a new version I downloaded the trial. It worked well so I bought it. I am happy with the program that they have now and want to say that I believe it is worth the $. The program they offer now is easy to use and worked well for me.

Is this an advertisment for DVD X Copy Platinum? The program you speak of I believe is banned in the US, and is illegal to sell.

It is an advertisement that if you want to buy a DVD buring program, don't waste your money on WizardPro and get the real thing.

You are mistaken, the software has been banned to be produced, however, there are still tons of copies being sold.

As for illegal, it does the same thing your product does, just better.

But, i would promote anyhing more than DVD Wizard!

So, is that all you could say back to my thread, that the product that works and actually has a phone number to call is illegal??

Stop looking at that and try to provide for your own. That is the product in question on this forum. I just want to help a good software package get the recognition it deserves. PLUS, if people were looking to get opinions on this software, they will see a better one that is offered. Kills two birds with one stone!!!!

Please advise on the refund process. I definitely have done the request, tried to get my product to work. I have used your support e-mail and that hasn't been any help. So, please tell me what I can do to get a refund, since now you are saying you do give them. I have e-mails from Support that say NO REFUND available for the product. I can send them to you if you want. Anything to get my money back!!!

My point about the serial number i was that I knew it was typed right and that it was a problem on WizardPro's part, but it took several e-mails and time to get the correct response. I am not saying that support doesn't respond, I am saying it doesn't help becuase the info provided doesn't answer my request.

I personally think that DVD X Copy Platinum is a great product. They use the VSO SDK, which we have considered using. As with any program, there have been a lot of problems with DVD X Copy, with any program you will experience bugs, and the program evolves, and bugs are worked out, these are called updates. Below you may find a couple of interesting articles on the recent ban of this product, including a distributor that was sued for selling the product.

I read the articles and I have seen many things that resemble this. However, the product is still sold all over the internet and you can call 321 Studios and they can answer any question as long as you aren't asking about the decryptor. And for answers to that you can use the forums and get any answer you need.

I feel the product works great too. I haven't had a single problem yet. I bought it, received it through the mail, and installed it. An hour later I had my first back up.

I guess, I am unhappy that this product isn't working as smoothly and I have to go through such hoops to get a good answer to any request. I pretty much have givenup on this product unless someone can help me make it work and show me what the PS2 guideline thing is. I looked all through folders and the help thing and don't see a single word about PS2.

Let me try one more time with getting this product to work before deleting it off my system. What bug would need to be fixed or what should be done if the product writes and records, but just never works in the DVD player or playstation.

All my back ups from Platinum work great and i can get them to play in the playstation too. My backups from DVD Wizard Pro won't even be recognized by the player as having the movie on it.

I use DVD+R, I ahve a brand new sony DVD player, and a new Dell Laptop.

Any help???

Once the DVD Wizard Pro Owner said that you could get a refund, I haven't gotten any responses to my e-mails.

I have sent almost a dozen refund request and now they are totally ignoring me.

WARNING POTENTIAL BUYERS: This product is more a pain in the ass than it is worth. BE WARE!
