That is a great demo of why I should get my money back. It is also a great way to show why DVD Wizard Pro is a scam. Thanks for taking the time to do that.
I still haven't gotten a response to my e-mails. I sent atleast one a day.

Hi guys, your discussion has helped me alot as I was just about to order DVD wizard pro. Now, I think I will look at some other products. To the guys defence, I was able to download a trial that worked perfectly for me, however, being very new to this I am also looking for a product with good support and this just doesn't seem to be happening here. I am sure there is alot more to it than a 10 minute trial verison. I have checked out DVD X copy, but I can't find anything at the moment with the decrypter and it was a bit on the expensive side. I would be very interested in your opinions on what you all think is the best product/s out there at the moment. Thanks again.

Im a little curious why people post messsages when they have no idea what they are talking about, I think some people post just for the sake of doing so. We provide a working product immediatly after the purchase is made, I doubt some of these people have ever even purchased DVD Wizard Pro. If you need technical support, or information on refunds please just visit our website and contact us from there.
Here is a quote from a previous post:
We have no reason to scam anyone, and just so people know , our credit card processor is not 1click, we use Clickbank. We offer full information on our refund policies in our FAQ. The truth is that some people want to smear our product, just for the sake of doing so. We do offer a demo, it allows you to copy 10 minutes of video. I will post a link, and as everyone can see, no shareware, or other downloads are needed. We use to offer an tutorial ebook, with information on how to copy DVD, this included links to other programs, including shareware, we made this fact clear before any purchases we're made. As for refunding the purchase because it does not work, every program has bugs, if a problem arises, then we address it and make the fixes needed, we try to offer support before we immediately issue a refund. Within one month we are going to be releasing a new version that allows you to copy the entire DVD, menus and extras included.

I gave up asking for a refund back in February, never had so much as an acknowledgement of receipt from my numerous e-mails. Taught me a lesson though in how easy internet based scams are - those so called 'review sites' can be made pretty easily and many are very convincing - Buyer Beware..!!

dvdwpro - I can't believe the extent you are trying to go to to con people. I did purchase your product 15 April 04, and the License name and code did not work, you then gave a temp code while sorting out a permanent one, that opened it but the software didn't work and then expired. I emailed you guys on numerous occassions and no reply, I even contacted you about a refund before the 14 days and you completely ignored me. I'd luv to have a beer with you one day in a pub and really let you know how I feel about cons!! and that is exactly what you guys are CONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone can contact me for more FACTS about my purchase, I'll be more than happy to help you save your money.

Ok Mr.dvdwpro, why do you still claim to,
Quote: If you want to copy your video games and play them without a mod chip, we happily report this is exactly the case
this is still not possible of any kind and still... you say this,
Quote: We tested the games on both Playstation 2 and Xbox with and without mod chips. We could see no quality difference in any of the games. This is the perfect software for making backups of your games
this also what you state in you FAQ on back up ps2/XBOX games
Quote: Q: What is a mod chip?
A: When installed in your gaming system, such as a PlayStation or XBox, a mod chip will allow you to play imported games as well as backups of your own games made on CD-r or DVD-r Media.
Top
Q: Why do I need a mod chip to play imports and backups?
A: The gaming console checks the country code on the game CD Roms / DVDs before it allows the game to start. If the country code on the disc does not match that of your console, it will not allow you to play the game. Similarly, the console checks to make sure you have inserted an original disc.
Top
Q: Are there any other solutions for playing my backups and imports?
A: Yes there are. EasyBuy2000 offers external Neo Keys and several other plug-n-play devices. No soldering required.
Top
Q: Where can I get a great deal on a mod chip?
A:
We don't usually go around hyping other websites, but we came across this one about a year ago and it's the only site we buy from now. If you really want great prices and terrific service, we can't think of a better place. Just click the image below to open a separate window to their site.

Ok guys and girls I tried to tell the owner to just stop posting but he wont, he thinks he is so smart and we are dumb but I will tell you Im not dumb I am very smart and college educated going on 6 yrs now in school and I hate how people try to make u fill dumb by saying that there product works and u know better..
So has anyone clicked on his links I have and Ill post what happend later but I just want to say it aint very good..
so I used his link to a download and downloaded his link over the program I had installed on my computer, and then I tried to use it and it came up with some problems.
I tried to copy a game and it said it couldnt find a video_ts file on disk so it doesnt work with playstation games....
then I went to a simple movie dvd and It worked but it was not easy to use , it took a long time to read the disk because you have to read it in sections or how many file sections are in the video_ts file..there were a lot of files so it took a long time and it does not decrypt the disk on the whole path of burning with dvd wizard pro...
so I say to people who want to burn playstation games it doesnt work and the ones that want to burn dvds use DVD DECRYPTER it is way easyer to use and saves you money and time ....
My word still stays that dvd wizard pro sucks and in my mind isnt worth nothing....

I know I have said rude things to the DVD owner, I have said rude things about this product, but the point of anger I am reaching about this is unexplainable in words.
I have put my time and energy into A) getting this piece of S*** to work B) trying to get help to make it work C) calling the people I ordered through to help me with responses and a refund D)Written atleast one e-mail A DAY to ask for a refund and I haven't seen S***!!!!!!!!!
This product has really made me second think EVER trusting to buy on the internet. I don't know why the owner of this company can say all the BS on the forum and not do S*** in life to fix it. How the hell can he tell me he will return the money on this forum and NOT DO IT!!!!!!!!!! How the hell can he say he has a product worth $40 that is F****** free on the internet already.
The people I ordered through have been writing e-mail after e-mail to get my refund request approved by them, but as usual NO RESPONSE!!!!!!! If this product is so F******* good, and he has so many happy people with it, why the f*** can't he give me back my $40.
I hope if he reads this... a)you have atleast one ounce of guilt B) become an ethical business person and give this VERY VERY dissatisfied customer her money back and C) Hire employess that do their job--answer e-mails sent!!!!!!!!
I ADVICE ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS TO LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE, do not get your money thrown away of false advertising and get an incredibily huge headache from the lack of response from the support team.
I don't know what I can do myself at this point but have all this anger and spread the world as much and as fast as I can. But, my uncle is a well known, respected lawyer in my area and you better believe if he tells me there is a way to get back my money or destroy this compnay due to all the lies they advertise, I will do it. I am willing to spend a few extra bucks with this lawyer that would crush this company than to just sit back and let them laugh at all the customers they have scamed. I notice there mailing address is in Europe, which isn't an issue either, I know plenty of people there too. If there is a will there is a way, and I will f****** find that way to knock each smile of those DVDwizardpro peoples face!!

Thats what Im saying its a smoke screen of the truth. The dvdwizardpro it works by reading the video ts file which there is numbers of different files you have to read each file one at a time which I have seen 4 or more files you have to read... Then it needs to read the sound files so it really suckssss and takes a long time and if you mess up on the way you burn a coaster..
and the program looks for the video file so on playstation games if there is no video file it wont work and there is a lot of games that dont have video files.... The reason why you cant copy and play is there is something on the disk that playstation looks for some type of playstation code or number, dvdwizard would have to copy this key im going to call it and put it on the burn and there is no way it can do that if a decypter cant do it there is no way that dvdwizard can do it...After I got the refund from click bank I went and got the swap magic and it works cool I use other burn products buyer beware of dvdwizardpro it dont work on all burns and that is the reason why you burn is to have a product that works with all dvds and games...

Hi again. Since my last post (I almost bought DVD Wizard Pro - but didnt, thanks to all your advice), I have downloaded Shrink & DVD Decrypter and it worked perfectly. Haven't had one problem. I also had a mod chip installed and have successfully backed up playstation games using DVD Decrypter. Something I thought you may find interesting: I was doing some research on the net looking for a way to play playstation backups without a mod chip (which was part of my reason for looking at DVD wizard Pro) and I came across an article explaining why there isnt any such way. Apparently, Sony put bad sectors onto their disks which the console needs to recognise in order to play the game. As there is not a burner on the face of the earth which will write bad sectors - it is impossible to copy disks and get them to work - this is why you need a mod chip or to disk swap. Thought you may be interested....

I agree completely with everything you folks have stated about DVD WizardPro. My husband bought the program a couple of months ago to back up his PS2 games - Didn't realize you had to have a chip to use them. Then we had to use an old startup point on our computer b/c of computer problems which wiped the program out. He emailed support to ask how to re-download. It has been over 2 months and still no response. Paid $40 for that program and they won't even reply to his email. Today, I purchased the DVD WizardPro (NOT KNOWING it was the same company my husaband had been dealing with) and the program would not even download!!! I tried three times to download it and it keeps saying there are support files missing from the download. DVD WizardPro only lists an email address as support. There are not phone numbers to call. SO between my husband and I, we have blown $80 for literally NOTHING. I have requested my money back through clickback and will not deal with this company again. Too bad I didn't see these postings before I purchased it.

Hi Kathy999,
I was reading this thread and you said you had to install a mod chip in order to back-up playstation games. Does it work for PS2 games as well?
My next set of questions is, What is a mod chip? Where does one get one? How much does it cost? Is it easily installed in the computer, assuming that's where it needs to be installed! Lastly, I do have DVD Decrypter so all I need is the mod chip, I guess. Is it difficult to make back-ups of PS2 games? I have used DVD Decrypter to burn DVD's in the past. Thank you.
Tom
