lately i had a lot of success using the hc encoder to encode my AVI files to mpeg2. I use avisynth scripts to load the video files. Hoewever, for 2 of my files, they don't load. I get the message of "error loading script, ACm failed to find a compatible PCM format." i used GSpot to check these files and they are regular AVI as opposed to my other movie files with opendml AVI. I even tried loading the files into QuEnc, but same message came up. IS there any other way i can convert the files or should i download new files?

oh yea, the 4cc code for the movie files are XviD, which i do have.
