I recently read a post today in the forums about somebody getting a "Trial offer expired" message. He said SlySoft would not renew his license, even though he had his Key, unless he had some sort of electronic reciept or documentation of his purchase order. I purchased AnyDVD a while back and am sure I dont have any thing of this nature, just my Key. Is this true?

I have never had a problem with my AnyDVD on updates or expiration as long as I had a legitimate key. Trial offer expired comes up only if you have the trial, not if you have bought and installed the key.

Edit: You should save the email of purchase along with your key, anyone can email slysoft about this. If you have your key you are fine, if you lose it, well you are lost.

if you still have your key save it too your hard drive then make a back up copy onto a cd and save that key for furture usage..
ive had to reinstall AnyDVD several times and i have my key and works perfect everytime..

Make sure you only buy your key from Slysoft, beware of the other resellers like on E-bay or a warez site, often times they buy one key from Slysoft, then resell it numerous times to unsuspecting consumers, only to have the key invalidated by Slysoft when the unique key calls home from several different locations on different IPs, hence a pirated key. Be careful Y'all.
