I have never used the codes on my swap disc but most of the games are a bit old so when I look for codes online for my newer games, its just so intimidating with all the different types such as code breaker and AR max and its frustrating, so will

1)any code work with swap magic coder?

2)will AR max codes work?

3)are the codes saved on the disc or on my memory card?

No. You'll need to convert the codes to AR2v2 format first, using maxconvert v0.71

Not all games are compatible with AR2v2 anymore, hence the reason they stopped making & supporting it some 2 years or so ago.
But it's always best to convert to RAW Hex (Not AR MAX RAW) first, as you only need the codeline that starts with an 'F' in the (M) code for v2

So I should convert Max to raw, then my newly acquired raw into ar v2?

Yes, once you've made sure you only have the 'F' line of code in your Master.
