Yes this is old news... from yesterday. Anyone going to wait for the DSLink it fits in the DS slot and runs off micro sd. I dont think im going to wait. U will have to have flashme installed. Since this is the ds slot chip that uses micro sd i dont think its going to work great and might not have gba support.

nice! i think this will be a relative success. sure, there is probably going to be no GBA support, but it would be nice for portability and everything. Who knows? :)

My main concern is good homebrew support, until it has that i'm not interested
Was a shock when i was just browsing a news website and suddenly this perfect fitting microSD DS slot adapter appears though :P

It's been confirmed that it won't support GBA games, and can only run DS back-ups. Also, it runs the Castlevania intro flawlessly.

Also, it won't require Flashme since it runs directly from the DS slot, removing the need for a PassMe solution.

well thats one thing that adds to the list of should i buy. They might have a program on the gba slot to tell the ds the roms is in the ds slot like the recerse thing of passme. But i doubt it... at least not yet. Well i dunno kinda interesting. I heard flashme was required somewhere but im not sure bout it.

Since they already make a GBALink, I doubt they're going to bother making something that does that.

lol, the DSLink alreday has it's competition - DS-Xtreme

This has built in 4Gbit memory and a USB connection, and like th DSLink fots perfectly in the DS slot.

So people now (again) have a choice between removable media, or fixed media :P

hmmmm....interesting...guess i will maybe hafta get one. Any idea when the DS-Xtreme will come out. Im planning removable media but...u never know
